iSOCO wins first prize in the Agent Technology Competition

This is an international competition organized by the Agentcities network of excellence. It has two categories:“Best agent service or Application” and “Best agent infrastructure”, and iSOCO has won the first prize (3000 Euros + HW) inside the former category with “iBundler: a decision support service for negotiation agents”. First prize was given for “its novelty and utility as a decision support service for highly constrained e-sourcing scenarios acting as a combinatorial negotiation solver”.

ATC received 54 registrations resulting in 14 finalists being selected for the finals in Barcelona (in the Agentcities Information Day on 6th of February 2003). Finalists came from worldwide countries (Japan, New Zeland, Germany, Arab Emirates, USA, Russia,…).

The Senior Judging Panel included a highly respected panel of Judges such Tim Finin (UMBC, USA), Mark Randolph (Motorola, USA), or Bernard Burg, (HP Laboratories, Palo Alto, USA).
