Thematic Routes

The existence of a formal model with explicit relations lets us create routes through the singular concepts and relations within Institutions. The routes link with specific content, according to a chosen theme. For example:

• Biographical tour of an artist: From his birth to his death. It allows us to see all the works he created, the influences received and given, the participation in events and projects, and so on.
• Geographical tour of a region: Given a location (e.g. the river Seine, France) it can relate all the works and major events arising in a selected place.
• Thematic tour on a movement or school: For a given cultural movement (e.g.: Impressionism) it lists representative works and artists as well as documentation of the socio-political conditions to better illustrate the historic background.

The tours will be constant and customised for the user who has created them. The application will also allow for automatic creation of a tour according to pre-defined templates.
