2nd ‘E-sourcing Forum’ in Barcelona

The 2nd ‘E-sourcing Forum’ has just taken place in Barcelona. The ‘E-sourcing Forum’ is an initiative we at iSOCO have launched and which aims to bring together the Purchasing Directors of various companies, some of whom are clients and some of whom are not, and discuss the opportunities, benefits, etc. of applying new technology to the buying and supply process.

iSOCO acts as moderator and the whole debate is based around speeches by various companies.

In today’s session, Gallina Blanca, Chupa Chups and Danone spoke. They have explained their experiences in applying new technology in the Purchasing process together with specific examples: negotiation of electricity and wrapping.

Around 50 people attended, from companies like Abertis, Almirall, Arias, Bayer, Bimbo, Caja Madrid, Celsa, Cobega, Derbi, Derivados Forestales, Frigicoll, Gestetner, Lilly, Nutrexpa, Panrico, Perfumes Puig, Pepsico, etc., all of whom we hope will soon become satisfied customers of iSOCO. It’s worth pointing out that the head of ‘Supply Chain Management’ for Bongrain, owners of Mantequerias Arias, came to Barcelona from Paris in order to attend this meeting.
